Starflower Signature Necklace with Star Sapphires and Diamonds in 18K Gold

A Linked Garden of Starflowers and Periwinkles, Worn at the Throat

This is the necklace that defines the Rutheny Starflower collection — a linked collar of ten hand-carved blooms in 18K yellow gold, arranged in an alternating sequence of periwinkles and starflowers that forms a graceful V at the center. Each flower connects directly to the next, no chain between them, creating a fluid, organic structure that moves like something alive.

The sequence: periwinkle, starflower, periwinkle, starflower, periwinkle, starflower, periwinkle, starflower, periwinkle — with the second and third starflowers each linked to an additional starflower below, forming the deep V that gives the necklace its signature silhouette. Five periwinkles, five starflowers, ten blooms in total.

Each periwinkle is set with a round 1.5mm diamond at its center — five diamonds in all, approximately 0.05 carats total weight. Each starflower is set with a round 4mm star sapphire, its silky six-rayed asterism shifting with every movement of light. Five star sapphires in all, one for each bloom. The result is a necklace of extraordinary presence: botanical, luminous, and unmistakably Rutheny.
