These extraordinary drop earrings are a study in graduated beauty — four hand-carved flowers descending from the ear in increasing size, each one distinct, each one alive with the kind of detail that only reveals itself up close. At approximately 2" long, they move with the wearer, catching light at every turn.

At the piercing, a tiny periwinkle-like blossom — dimensional and delicate, with an even tinier raised flower at its center set with a round 1.5mm diamond. Below it, a starflower with a luminous 4mm star sapphire at its heart. Then another periwinkle blossom, its center set with a second round 1.5mm diamond. And finally, the largest bloom — a bold starflower crowned with a second 4mm star sapphire, commanding and serene in equal measure.

The star sapphire is one of the most captivating of all gemstones — its silky asterism, the six-rayed star that appears to float across its surface, shifts with every movement of light.
